I bought it, loaded it and registered it in 15 minutes! I walked dowm my street and found ten open WIFI networks!
PROS: * It works perfect on the PALM T500. *It sniffs out WIFI networks, tells you the name of the network and tells you if the the network is open or locked. *You can set up NETCHASER to find an open WIFI network, then tap on the open network and it will connect your internet browser to it, THIS IS AWESOME! *It's only $12.00!
CONS: * It can drain the battery rather quickly, but who cares, unless you are wardriving. *That's the only downside to the program.
Anyone who likes to connect to the INTERNET and not pay a ridiculous $6.00 an hour for internet access at Starbucks! This is the program for you!

It is a good program. You just install it than you must instruct the program to start a webbrowser and every wifi network that is not secured is free for your computer. There is not much you have to configure but it is not necessary. When you have this program it becomes very clear that about half of the people not secure there wifi networks. I use that to send emails but I can imagine that other uses are also possible but afcourse not legal.

This is a great application and a must-have for anyone using Wi-Fi on a Palm. It does exactly what it the description says it does (which isn't always the case with some software here). I love that I can run it while my Tungsten|C is hooked up to my GPS and it will keep track of the where it found the connection with GPS coordinates. NetChaser allows you to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi from just about any middle-class neighborhood. Just driving through such a neighborhood with NetChaser running will get you dozens of discovered access points (if you have the sound effects or vibration turned on, it will actually get annoying after finding so many!). I also have found it VERY useful for completely resetting the Wi-Fi on my Tungsten|C, as it does get messed up from time to time, and the alternative way of resetting the Wi-Fi is definitely not as easy as a couple of taps like with NetChaser. I believe this application is definitely worth $12, and after trying it and now owning and using for quite a while, I would probably pay even more than that (shhh! don't tell the developers!).

Very neat application. I took a walk during my lunch hour and was amazed by the amount of wireless devices which have encription turned on and off. My little walk resulted in 354 Access ports being discovered. Highly recommend this application.
